Subject	Paid for TT engine but got N/A

Message	While looking to buy some random parts from a Z shop I mentioned I was looking for an engine. Shop owner said he could get a TT with 110k miles complete except for A/C compressor. Sounded like a good deal so I paid for half of it then and planned on paying the other half when he delivered it. Couple days later I get text saying the turbos are shot but I'll sell you the brand new Godspeed T28's I have for another $200. In short I wanted my money back but got talked out of it and he delivered the engine & turbos. Turns out it's a N/A engine (verified by another Z shop in town). To be clear here the engine had some TT parts on it, so I didn't know any better until I pulled the oil filter bracket, etc. When I contacted the seller he said he bought the engine from a guy who had an engine/trans but didn't want to seperate. Seller needed a trans and he got that, sold me the engine. So he sais to me I can give you the guys number and you can see whats up. Who's liable here ? The guy that originally sold the engine to the shop owner or the shop owner ? IMO, the shop owner should have noticed that the engine was not a TT but ?? Any advice would be much appreciated because I'm not sure what to do here...Cheers
